    Finished Detail!

Detailed my truck for the first time yesterday after receiving my Poor Boys kit. It turned out really nice except I didn`t remove all of the swirls. I use SSR 2.5 w/ an orange light cutting pad followed by SSR 1 w/ white polishing pad, sealant, than Natty`s blue. I polished each panel for about 4 minutes on speed 5. Like I said, it has a great shine and am impressed with the products, but need some suggestions on the swirl removal so I can make my wifes Pacifica look great.

Did you read up and look at the pictures in the Poorboys forum? Check out the thread that says "SSR2.5- Proper amount to use". That`ll show you the correct amount to use. Also, if you use a cutting pad and still have swirls try 2.5 and a polishing pad and then do the SSR1. Don`t be afraid to use speed #6 too. Then again, some swirls are too deep to safely remove. Congrats on your purchase and best of luck in the future with it.

Yeah, kind of hard to do a bang-up job the first time. Continue to ask questions, read the post here on how to do this and that, and continue to practice, practice, practice. You`ll get it!............Tom
