    Now what soap

do I use to get off all the wax(20+ coats) that is on my car? I`m going pcing tomorrow and I want the paint as clean as possible.I`ve heard Dawn is a no no but I doubt a once a year Dawn bath will destroy my paint.

20 coats? You might need a chisel or blow-torch :emlaugh:

A chemicl polish should do it for you. Try either PwC or PP (or their non-poorboy equivalents), those should take off what you`ve got on there.

I have always added a litle DAWN to my regular car wash mixture to accomplish this.
DAWN is not good for the paint on a continual basis but once everry other year or so to remove all the build up is not an issue at least it never has been for me. And since you are planning on claying and PC`ing then no harm. I would like to hear what others think though.

Just polish it off after a normal wash. Any of the polishes you are planning on using will remove the wax. Just remember to check and clean your pads as needed.
