Here is a little test I am doing with Black Wow. Just wanted to show some pics to you guys. This is after 1 coat of black Wow. The trim had never been dressed properly in the 3 years the current owner has had the car. Can`t speak for the previous owner. This is a 1994 Mustang Cobra.

Only half of the trim is dressed on the 2nd pic. Close to the sprinkler.

I`m going back to finish polishing this car in the next few days and will take pics after washing and after applying a 2nd coat of black wow. I`ll also try to return and take a pic of it in a couple of weeks.

    About the product:

It`s very easy to apply and a drop goes a long way. I did that whole trim under the wipers with 3 tiny drops.

It`s a little greasy and it can make a little mess. I just had to wipe the paint and glass as it touched it slightly. I used IPA and it came off instantly...

    It smells great! Cotton Candy?

Looks great! I have a bottle due to ship on or about 8/20 which will be used first on my `95 Mustang GT. Keep us advised on the durability.

Yea thats spectacular. Could you do a day after pic? I`ve noticed a lot of trim products loose that oily shiny look after a day. Also, do tell on overall durability

That looks great. I`m interested in seeing how long it lasts too.

The more trim products I try though, the more I start to think that it`s all kind of hit or miss just like tire dressing. I don`t think it`s because the product isn`t working, but rather because some rubber works better with certain formulations than others and vice versa.

I cleaned the trim extensively with IPA before applying it too. A lot of black stuff came off.

I can`t take a day after pic but I can do one next weekend. I`m expecting it to loose some shine, which is fine with me as i prefer matte. I`ll wash the car and apply a second coat. I`ll try to take a pic a month after then...

Thanks for the review. Did you clean the trim with straight IPA or a 50/50 mix? Looks like a good product.

Wouldnt the IPA dry out the trim over the long term?

    You use it at a 50% water / 50% IPA mix ?

    Tks

The look in the photo and description resemble PB`s TR .... in your opinion how do they compare?

I currently use this and I wonder how it compares to Ultima`s Tire & Trim Guard... I love Black Wow though. But you have to be very careful not to get it on your paint, its a PITA to remove.
