    SSR 3, 2.5,2,1 or DACP

I have a problem with a mark left by bird droppings. I can feel this spot in the paint. I am going to try and remove it with polishes, hopefully it will work. My question, how does SSR3 stack up to Meguiars DACP? Are they about the same. I have been wanting to go with Poorboys for some time now, so I am leaning that way. Also, if I go with SSR3, do I have to use 2 and then 1 or can I go straight to 1. Would I be smarter to start with 2.5 or 2 instead of 3? I am going to be using a PC to apply, my buddy is letting me use his. Any help would be aapreciated.

    Hello

well ssr2.5 compares to DACP IMHO. ssr3 is pretty abrasive stuff. I woudl start with 2.5 or DACP and then see what that does. If after a couple passes it doesnt remove what you want then move up to SSR3. If you use SSR3 then you will need to go with ssr2 and then finish it off with ssr 1. HTH

Have you tried a chemical paint cleaner on it yet?? I still suggest that route before you try anything too abrasive on it. From the sounds of it, this is a pretty recent bomb and you got it off in a reasonable amount of time. I think you`re jumping way ahead of yourself by thinking SSR3 right off the bat. Slow down....try something less abrasive first. If that doesn`t work, then step it up slowly.
I still don`t believe in grit guards.

I will give it a try. I have Klasse AIO and Meguiars Color X. I guess I shouldn`t panic too early. Thanks.

OK, after all of my worrying, AIO worked. I can`t believe it. I was in a panic. I am going to give the car a full detail now to really show it off. What a relief. Thanks for not letting me take it too far.
