grit Guard

How do you guys use your grit guard?

Do you put soapy water in? or just clean water? Do you have two or just one? (for two bucket method)

I use the guard in the rinse bucket but was going to try one in both buckets (2 bucket method), just hadn`t gotten around to it yet.
