FI is a great detail spray, it leaves the surface very clean and smooth. It doesn`t do much for gloss or depth, but it wasn`t designed to. I use it as a clay lubricant and between polishing stages to ensure a completely clean surface.
Good product.
Charles
nice product, wipes clear, no streaking, as it should.
It is a great clay lube and works very well at removing polish residue. It does not add anything as far a gloss to the finish and does not work very well as a "between washes" detail spray. It is a good product and one I continue to use.
It`s what you learn after you know it all that counts ... John Wooden
Very nice product and smells yummy.

Best for use as a clay lubricant but as gloss enhancing, slickening quick detailer, it`s not very goodOriginally Posted by John Styrnol
Far prefer #66, Eimann Fabrik clear pearl & Wolfgang instant detail spritz
Can`t wait to try Menz Acrylic shield though, another brilliant product from them I bet
Car care/detailing sadly isn`t high on the agenda for 98% of australians.
Yep............ Good QD.
Body shop safe (no silicones)
Good clay lubricant.
Nice light cleaning ability
Streak free
The light cleaning & streak free application/removal make it a good window cleaner.
Just does`t quite have the POP of other QD`s.
How`s compare with the PB S&G?
Well, I would say............Originally Posted by klnyc
S & G is probably not Body Shop safe. (could be wrong though)
S & G has considerably more "POP" (more gloss)
All other traits are probably similar.
What other popular body safe qds out there besides FI?
A man has got to recognize his limitations, and then learn how to adapt within those confines. Then go out and conquer.
I think ClearKote`s Quick Shine, maybe Adam`s Detail Spray, also the new Meg`s Last Touch.Originally Posted by The Chee

I used to use this before i got Adams. It did a good job of leaving a clean surface and as people have said didnt do a ton for gloss but thats not what its mad to do.
Greg
Well, I`m pretty sure that Last Touch has some silicones in it........... it would probably not be Body Shop safe. I think that Adam`s QD has some silicones in it (could be wrong though). Quik Shine doesn`t have any silicones, so it might be Body Shop safe.
Keep in mind that they are all "safe", but the ones with silicones shouldn`t be used in a body shop, as silicones tend to "migrate" even when not in use.
If you`re not going to get your vehicle painted in the next month or so, it really doesn`t matter.

My friend owns an auto body shop and he too say`s the same thing .
If you have ever had body work done or paint work has any of them ever asked what type of wax or qd is on the car and how often it`s used ??
I think the only time you might run into this problem is if you take it to the prime & paint place`s , like a Maaco or Earl Scheib where they repaint your whole car for like 499.00. Obviously there is little to no prep work done on the car or any precaution`s taken.
