    Ultima Paint Guard Plus Question

I`m a hobby detailer and I have some UPGP on the way. I`m hoping it will be a good durable solution to use though the winter months. I`m wondering if I would gain any depth or look by layering this over Pinnacle Liquid Souveran wax or if this type of product needs to be applied directly to cleaned and polished paint to maintain its durability? Thanks for any input.

You need to apply it to cleaned paint. Applying it over the wax will greatly reduce it`s durability. It is a very durable sealant and a great winter choice(especially since it is so easy to use). I suggest 2 coats applied 45 min apart.

strip everything off the car so the Ultima gets a good bite. A good clay session, a polish like 105, using dawn dishwash detergent...

or the best option is the ultima paint prep first...

+1 to the previous posts. For best results apply Ultima directly to clean paint. If you want even more durability I would use Ultima Paint Guard Prep first.
