Product to keep headlights from hazing?

Hello fellow members! I have a simple question that I hope you guys/gals can help me with. My headlights don`t have any hazing/clouding on them and I`d like to keep them that way. Which product would you recommend to apply to keep them from getting that way? I`m not looking for a film at the moment but a product I can apply by hand to keep them looking like new for years to come.

    Thank you.

I been using Opti-Seal on mine and look as new as when I got my Mazda. All I did was a light polish and seal them. It`s been now 6 years and still look new to this day. Remember to reapply every 30-60 days, it should take about 30 sec`s on each headlight to do.

    OC/OG, CQ, C1

A coating would definitely be your best bet. the second option is to use your regular sealant on them every month or so. I will help to slow the process down.

Your best bet is going to be, as other have suggested, to apply a permanent paint coating such as Optimum Opti-Coat 2.0 to the headlights.

Alternatively you can keep the sealed with a paint sealant or wax regularly to slow down the degradation.

Wow this site is very helpful. Thanks everyone. I just placed Opti-Seal on my cart. From what I read this stuff really goes a long way.

A good priced item is Meguiar`s Headlight Protectant.

    Wipe on wipe off.

As of late Ive been using meguiars headlight protectant.

Use just a tiny bit and dont let it haze or it becomes difficult to get off!
