Greetings

I have two potential clients. The Benz went thru one of those charity car washes and they jacked up her hood. Nasty. It was bad to begin with, but when I saw it last, I cringed at how much worse it got. I want to give it a polish but have heard that Benz`s have super hard paint?

The 2nd car, the newer body style 5 series, also black, will just be detailed. But for future reference, I wanted to know if this also has one of them hard paints?

I`ve been reading that some of the newer paints are ceramic paints, or something to that effect. Can anyone help? I want to make sure the tools I have will be sufficient before even attempting the job.

I use a PC and tend to use Hex Logic pads, though I have a few Buff n Shines I bought but haven`t tried. For compound and such, I have used Megs 105/205 combo for correction, and Poor Boys Black Hole as a glaze on some cars. I`ve also used HD Speed for testing, so I have that avail as well. I do have sample sizes of Wolfgang`s Swirl Remover 3, HD Cut, HD Polish. In the mail, I have Blackfire coming my way (compound and polish).

I figured I should have variety of products for various needs. Well that, and the fact that I sometimes get carried away buying stuff, and like trying things out. Then there are sales....

So back on topic. Do I have sufficient materials to get those paint jobs done? If not, what would be suggested? THANKS FELLAS
