how long did that interior take you? did the HD product have to sit for awhile or were they direct applications and were directed to be cleaned right away after applying?

I always think about the labor involved when I use a toothbrush for cleaning. There is no doubt that this Ferrarri came out GREAT. I always end up LOSING money on these jobs because it takes so long to get them perfect. Nice job Dave!

I dont use oily dressings they just collect and trap dirt. Unless it is perhaps a very light non-oily spray protectant.

I spent about 6 hours on the interior and trunk of this car. The cleaner was a spray/scrub/wipe process. I didn`t concentrate or see any advantage with letting it dwell on this application. I`ve used the scrub side of the HD applicator pad on light duty jobs and it seems to work very nice.

Yeah, I know what you mean. The owner wasn`t in a hurry and I actually had the car for several weeks. Time wasn`t an issue and it was great to take my time.

The HD Protect isn`t oily one bit. I actually did 2 straight applications on the dash(within several hours apart) and it seemed to plate out perfectly. Had a very factory appearance.

    Bump!

I just had to bump this thread to say it is one of my all time favorite threads because it is so informative andd simple to follow. I just ordered a bunch of HD and 3D products, including the ones you used. Thanks!
