Why not just invest in good business cards? Mine already come UV coated and are printed at a high enough resolution you can`t see any dots without using a serious magnifying glass.

If you are looking for the waterproofing properties, I think a car is better demonstration.

So far, my customers have been receptive to it, and we have had conversations about it.

I have not had any that booked a coating job yet, I have faith that it will happen soon.

I would say, based on the parts I quoted you on, it`s working out great. Opening the door for the discovery step of the selling process is half the battle. You may not have had anybody bite on it yet, but if you got a sale on everything you pitched you`d be a millionaire lol.

The fact you are getting them to ask you about the product instead of you bringing it up also puts you at a pretty big advantage over just you trying to hard sell them on it.

Seems like a novelty at best and a waste of money at worst.

Spend the money on a graphic artist to make you something better if an improvement is desired.

If he has customers asking about the coating how is this a novelty at best?

    `

At worst I would say it`s a novelty. At best it`s a selling tool that is doing what it is supposed to do as long as the purpose is to get the customer interested and asking about what a coating is.`

I am pretty sure the coating will react differently to clearcoat compared to paper
