Hi guys, my first thread. Been lurking for a while and decided to come out of the closet :work:

I live in the UK, been working on getting my car to a good state, here`s how it looks so far

Been using mainly Poorboys SSR2.5 with EX-P and a Dewalt buffer. Just purchased a Porter Cable though so will improve on it a little more. Will post more pictures in ma gallery once I have got to grips with the forum.

BTW fantastic forum I am hooked :xyxthumbs

I love that car...such a great handling machine. Only if the winters were nicer here in Boston...

Does the US get the s2000 in that color? Or did you have it repainted.

I work at a Honda dealer but have never seen that color. I love it!

Hi guys, thanks for your kind response, the colour is a stock colour; Imola Orange Perl. Pretty sure it is available in the US as I have seen pictures of a few in on the S2000 forum.

Thanks guys, the paint seems to be made up of a small amount of red pigment with a lot of yellow Perl. When it is overcast the car looks more towards burnt orange, when the sun is bouncing off of it you get an off yellow. What I would like to do with the car is to get the polish to give it more of a contrast/looking darker. The combination I have at the moment is Poor Boys SSR2.5 for cleaning, then Clearkote Red Moose Machine Glaze, Poorboys EX-P as a sealant and then finished off with P21 Carnabu wax. I am goig to try the Nattys Blue wax as I am not impressed with the longevity of P21 but I still want the car to look darker/deeper shine. Any suggestions?
