Here is a car that belonged to a client of mine. It had 21,000 miles on it. It was in prestine condition.

She sold it to me and I had to let it go a few months later for $10,000. A guy bought it that had $4,000 cash and borrowed $6,000 from his grandfather.

Fast forward 9 months and the grandfather calls me and told me that he never got the $6,000 back from his grandson and that if I give him the $6,000 I can have the car back.

I got it back and it was a mess. Water spots, sratches, swirl marks, etc.....

I started with color sanding almost all of the top areas with my mirka and 2000 grit sand paper. I followed that with 4000. I spot sanded the sides as needed. Meguiars diamond cut rubbed the sanding marks out and swirl free polish gave me a the deep brilliant shine it now wears. Meguiars #21 protects it.

    Thanks Hotrodguy

This is a completely original factory finish. The most material I removed from any one area was .3-.4 mils. Most all other areas that were colorsanded had .2-.3 mils removed.

It is rare when I get to do this as with my labor rate at $55 per hour this job would of cost a customer $770.

Usually daily drivers don`t get this kind of love.

It is for sale again. Still low miles , only 29,700. Offered for $11,000 this time.

I would love to keep it. I JUST GOT OVER LOSING IT THE FIRST TIME :sadpace:

But I am a family man and it isn`t practical. I also own 6 other vehicles so I need to thin the collection down a bit.
