I used RMG and UPP for the whole car today for the first time, and it came up great! I prepped the paint with SSR2, Scratch-X, etc. and also used the new Sonus ultra-fine clay and lube for the entire roof, came up glass smooth, so worked very well. I then applied RMG to half the car, then UPP - while the UPP was bonding, I did the other half of the car with RMG, so by the time I was done I could buff the first side - I let it sit for 30 mins before I buffed it off.

I used the PC on speed 4 with a Megs polishing pad for the RMG and a finishing pad for the UPP, all buffed off by hand with Megs Supreme Shine MF towels. Here`s some pics:

The roof after clay, RMG and UPP - no swirls or marks at all - I love it!

    Very sharp reflections!

Thoughts? RMG is very easy to use, on/off with minimal effort and seemed to deepen the colour of my car. UPP is so easy to use, unlike Klasse SG it buffs off by hand very easily, the longer you leave it the easier it seems to come off. The surface feels very slick indeed, more slick than anything else I`ve tried yet - I like it ALOT for it`s ease of use and results.

The new Sonus ultra-fine clay and Glyde lube is very, very good - I did my entire roof no problem (in 4 sections) and it came up glass smooth, the Glyde lube is very nice to use too. My roof was only a little bit rough but it came up really smooth, you could see what came off on the clay!

Overall RMG, UPP and Sonus ultra-fine clay get big thumbs up from me - they all work great!!!

    AWESOME! Car looks beautiful!

If I get time, I will be doing that this week. I used RMG on my hood yesterday and found it definately deepened the red.

PS - SpoiledMan...you better TM this.

Yeah, it`s a hot combo. Your car looks killer and it`s not just because I`m loving blues and reds these days.

Nice one Rob, glad you had the dry weather.....they are some pretty hypnotic reflections on that first side on pic.

I was going to use this combo on my first `paid` detail today, but it rained from 8am and is still raining 12 hours later :angry

Yeah it was perfect all day, cloudy but warm. I`m going to add another coat of UPP tomorrow if the weather holds. Thanks for all the comments, I`m still a newbie to machine polishing really (did it by hand for years until 4 months ago), but thanks to all the info on these forums I`m getting great results.

Looks great, Rob. It`s sounding like RMG under anything looks unbelievable. I haven`t seen anyone complain about that stuff yet!

I love the color of your car! Beautiful!

I`ve been using RMG under sealants also and have been really happy.

It is a SEAT Leon Cupra, same chassis and 1.8T engine as a Golf MkIV, here`s a full shot from a recent show:

It is heavily modified with Recaro leather interior, different turbo, KW coilovers, Brembo brakes, etc. etc.

I added a second coat of UPP this morning, all done by hand today, still goes on/off easily, I let it sit for 30 mins before buffing off, It has definately added to the effect - UPP has lived up to the hype!!!

(ignore my wheels and tyres - not done them yet!)

Trying to get a shot of the metallic flakes, but they are very fine flakes, difficult to shoot.

    Some more:

Overall RMG + 2x UPP has produced an awesome finish that feels super-slick, I am very pleased! The Sonus ultra-fine clay worked very well on the roof too, another great product.
