About 5 years ago, I detailed my doctor`s 1972 Alfa. Original owner, 40k miles, garage queen. Insisted on taking me for a ride. Very fun car.

Well, I grew up in a 71 V12 E type, convertible, white, with black leather interior. My mother bought it NEW in November of 1971, when I was 8. Spent most of my childhood being carted around in that, NO seatbelt, and my mother made Dale Earnhardt look slow!
She still has it. Doesn`t drive it much - it`s been crashed twice and restored twice. Only problem - it`s an automatic. But it IS a nice car to drive.
