My brother was in town for NewYears so I kidnapped his Sequoia and spent overall about 16 hours on it.

I had to stop so he could go back to FL.

    Meg Car Wash

    Meg Clay bar

    DACP w/PC

MIP w/PC- (had my buffing pad blow out, it was a cheapo)

    MFP w/PC

    AIO by hand

Meg Gold Class wax by hand

    BEFORE

    Severe swirls

AFTER (of course it was a cloudy day)

Weather calls for freezing this weekend so it`s time to re-stock and relax.

At first the DACP wasn`t working too good. Then I slowed down my sweeping figure 8 motion and put the PC on 6 and the results were amazing. All the swirling was gone and he had some minor scratching that was too deep to remove with DACP. I wish I had sun shots, but the vehicle is in FL and I`m in GA.

My parents had one of those, detailing it is a nightmare lol, its so big. They traded it on a FX35 that I`m MUCH happier to detail for them every now and then...

    Nice work!

    Thanks for the compliments!

Had a couple of sun shots emailed to me. Excuse the dirt and water spots.

looks great... i cant say ive ever spent 16 hours on a detail, but its good that you took your time. i would have used something other than gold class wax to finish it off though, like #16 or #26, as gold class isnt durable at all.
