I had horrible swirls marks, and marring on my car. Well, after 6 hours, Many washes, few passes on the PC with Menzerna IP, FP2, and a few coats of z5 and then z2...i`m VERY happy. 90% of the swirls are gone. I have never seen paint this clean before on any car. Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who helped me out on here! Here are some pics.

Wow. Im glad I posted these. I didnt even notice that white line on the inside of the trunk on the third pic! Gotta go clean that off! lol

    This is what I did.

    Wash with dawn, dry.

Polish with IP(only places with bad swirls/marring-hood, trunk, top of car, and fenders. Used a white pad.

Polish with FP2, entire car. Again, a clean white pad.

Wash with dawn again, and dry to insure there is nothing on the paint.

    Z6 entire car to clean.

2 Coats of z5, then one coat of z2, by hand, and buffed in up-down motions to insure no more swirls. (or atleast hope so) I will wait 24 hours and apply 3 more coats of z2. This was my first time using a PC, and I cant tell ya how easy it is!

I agree with the PC Menzerna IP and FP.

Did a resto detail this past weekend, and it came out great. I need to get the before and afters up. Hopefully this weekend I will.

Mike79....check out my post as well. I have a 99 Cobra and posted some pics right before you.

Car looks great. The Menzerna twins worked wonders at removing the swirls. I used Zaino for the last 2 years, but this time did:

    Menzerna twins

    Klasse twins

    P21S wax.

I`m actually much happier with the depth and wetness the black took on. Zaino is still awesome....just depends on the look you are after. Zaino is very reflective as it shows in your car.

I had an awesome pic of the roof yesterday evening...it was reflecting the moon that was barely visible since the sun was still out. The picture just didn`t do it justice though. Enjoy that Cobra!!!!!:xyxthumbs

Very nice, how was the FP2 ? I have read where it might be more difficult to use being they added some oils to it.

Coming from a fellow black mustang owner, don`t QD the pollen off. Infact I threw out my CCD and stopped QD last month. My paint marres just looking at it.

    Oh, looks GREAT

    THanks guys!

I never used the FP1, but the FP2 was very easy to work with. Didnt have any problems. I did notice that the FP2 works best when you apply almost no preasure to the PC, and just let it do its own thing.

I know, I want to QD the car in the worst way, but I dont want to go through what I did with this for a while.
