These shots aren`t as great. The sun wasn`t in a good place. But here they are anyway.

I went over the whole top half of the car with DACP by PC. I used a yellow polishing pad for it, and a red cutting pad on the areas there were deep scratches. The red pad really worked well, but of course couldn`t remove them completely (I`m talking deep...). The car also has a crapload of dings and rubs and dents in it... Oh, I used MPPC by hand on the lower panels. I also used some Gold Class Bug&Tar on the car to reasonable success. Some of the stuff was pretty permanent, and I didn`t really want to deal with the 3M stuff since it fades the paint so much and requires some serious polishing. I was going for reasonably quick restoration and protection (though all told it took about 10 hours).

I prepped for this by washing with Gold Class Car Wash because I feel it is stronger than #00. I did the wheels with A2Z, which was awesome, and the tires and wheelwells with APC+ 9:1.

I Enduranced the tires, though they actually are quite matte. Not sure if it`s because the tires really soaked it up, or because it rained yesterday?

I went over the car today with Final Detail to bring back the just-detailed look to it since it had been rained on and driven a bit (I did the work on the 1st).

That`s my dad`s license plate. I haven`t gotten around to titling/registering it in the Old Dominion yet... I thought the reflection off the bumper was pretty cool, though.

Oh, and here`s another shot of it as it turned 100,000...

    OT: Tribe98=W&M in 1998?

Had to ask with the Michigan frames.

And great job with the Buick--I may have to road trip it there so you can learn me up right with the DACP.
