    1978 Porsche 911

    1978 Porsche SC (Super Carrera)
Upgraded to look like a 1974 Euro Carrera
    Signal Yellow/Black Interior
    3.0 liter flat 6
    5 speed manual
    16,000 miles since completed

    OPERATION YELLOW BIRD

This car has been recently completely overhauled. Glass out re-spray, engine/trans/drivetrain/suspension/interior all rebuilt/updated/new.
The paint was full of swirls, texture and some heavier scratches. I had plenty of paint to work with.

    The ‘details’:

    Adam’s strip wash.
    Adam’s Eco wheel cleaner.
    Adam’s tire and rubber cleaner.
    Tarminator tar remover.
    Master Blaster to dry.
    DeFelsko PTG.
    Scangrip lighting.
    Flex 3401, Pixie, Rupes iBrid.
Griot’s Fast Correcting and Perfecting cream.
    Optimum panel wipe.
    22ple Mistico Elemento Forte.
    22ple VM1.
    Adam’s Graphene tire shine.
    CarPro Clarify glass cleaner.
    Metro vacuum.
    McKee’s37 total interior cleaner.
    McKee’s37 quick interior detailer.
    McKee’s37 glass restorer.
    Black Label leather conditioner.

    Thanks for looking!

Classic and classy ride! Are the decals like Carrera painted, or vinyl? Were they difficult to work with?

    Thanks guys!!!

Poison: vinyl. Yep, kinda a PIA, as they were pretty fresh and I had to be very careful around them!

    Wonderful work. As always.

I`m really liking that Adams Graphene Tire Shine. Have you used it before? Any idea on it`s durability?

    Thanks.

In my black and white world I don`t feel that many cars could pull that color off. That said, YOU and Porsche did it very well. Great work.

    Thanks all!!! Appreciate the comments!

Older: I just started using it/trying it a few weeks ago. It`s tough due to all the rain down here this time of year. I`ll have to get back to you on durability this fall/winter!
