    2014 Porsche GT3

    2014 Porsche GT3
    White/black w/deviated red stitching interior
    8892 miles
    3.8 liter flat 6
    475HP/325TQ

This has been a track car its entire life. Car was wrapped a long time ago to protect the paint from track abuse. It’s showing its age!
There was tons of embedded dirt, rubber hits/scuffs/marks/nicks, etc.

    The ‘details’:

    McKee’s37 Iron remover.
    Gary Dean shampoo.
    Adam’s APC.
    Scangrip lighting.
    Griot’s G9.
    McKee’s Hi def paint sealant.
    Adam’s compound.
    Carpro PERL tire dressing.
    Adam’s glass cleaner.
    Metro vacuum.
    McKee’s37 quick interior cleaner.

    Thanks for looking!

    Sizzle Chest:
Did the underside of the rear hood clean up with just Gary Dean`s shampoo?? I also assume the "shine" is from the application of MK37 HD sealant.

Did you compound the matte black PPF/wrap? I did see you used the GG G9 as your polishing machine. Did the PPF "influence" that choice??

If I could look up the Florida DMV vehicles list of Porsche GT3s registered in that state, half of them have been detailed by you (or so it seems) and the other half are waiting to be done.

This GT3 is special since its a track car, but since it IS still street-legal, is it registered with a Florida plate for street driving to the track??

I do wonder how long those Michelin Sport Cup 2`s last on this GT3. They look pretty new on this now 7-year old Porsche with so few actual miles on it, even if they are accumulated at a track. I assume you did not have to remove the wheels from this GT3 and deal with the Porsche center-lock hub nut.

Nice detailing workmanship and photography on another GT3.

    Thanks crack and lonnie!

Lonnie, no I had to compound the underside of the engine cover. That dirt was IN there man. Solidly embedded.

I did not polish on any of the matte/satin wrap. It would have left me as a gloss black wrap! LOL. I only compounded the white and orange areas.

The Hi Def helped with the shine a lot, but it really started to be apparent after the compounding removed all that dirt that was in the wrap. It was just filthy.

You are correct, it does have current FL registration/tags and is driven on the street as well as to the track and on the track.

Those particular tires have 2 track sessions on them and may have another 1, maybe 2 left in them. But, they are good for the street, plenty of tread, just the outsides on these were getting chewed up from the corners.

    Wheels stayed on.

Thanks for the kind words everyone!

WOW great work !!! Beautiful looking car. Thank you for posting what you used. In general ( not brand specific ) does Iron Remover have any bad affects on a wrap or vinyl strips ? Thanx for posting.

^^Thank you and you are most welcome! No, it will not harm vinyl wrap, stripes or PPF. Just follow the directions and you will be fine!
