2020 Mopars In Review Part VI Toxic Orange and Poorboys Ceramics equals wow

    7.12.20

For those who remember my old posts, the detail backpack raffle donation is still a yearly cause for the business. This is year 5 featuring a one step polish and the PoorboysWorld Ceramic coating for both smooth surfaces and trim.

A special thank you to Steve for donating a bottle of superhydrophobic coating for this charity cause.

Standard coating prep wash and chemical/mechanical decontamination

One step polish and a lathering of all coatings PoorboysWorld.

I had yet to really test the trim coating until here and let me tell you, this is some quality product. Let the pictures do my justification.

PoorboysWorld coating considerably enhanced this Toxic Orange Paint.

Side note: this car won the raffle and they live a few blocks away. No affiliation with my Mopar club but they are prior clients on their other vehicle. Anyways, I see this car in the area a lot and it always makes me double take post detail. It looks really nice. The flake shifts from orange to almost yellow in certain light.

    Thanks for viewing

Thanks Tom. This was a real fun one for me actually.

We all know it`s nice to work on new vehicles but this was one used Mopar in need. Plus I get to see it all the time. My morning walk goes right by the owners house.

Very nice results. Especially for a one step.

I`m digging the Poorboy`s World coating. I have to finish my Jeep soon, so I can get onto the trim coating from them as well.

Its pretty easy to apply. It flashes almost immediately for me here in central tx. If I let it sit more than 5 or so seconds it`s not a fun time. It is very slick.
