    Sizzle Chest:
Was this the "maiden voyage" of your cordless Flex XFE 15 for polishing??? Thoughts about the experience??
Is it me or do I see you listing your use of the Flex polishers for most of your details more than the Rupes, other than the ultra-small and versatile Rupes I-brid?? Personal preference or better performance??

(More than) NICE work on this new Gentian blue metallic 911S. Love this color with a grey interior. (Ah, something more "acceptable" to the personal color pallet of Captain Obvious; Porsche Color Scheme Critic!)

I now know why you own so many Porsche tools: you & your better half personally own a Porsche 911 AND 718 Boxer!! Did not know that (my ignorance!) until I saw the thread on the gold wheels and Martini colors striping.on your Agate Grey Porsche 911

Thank you everyone for the comments! I do appreciate them!!!

Captain Obvious: Thank you! I do not have the cordless version...yet. I used my corded version of that machine. I have several of both machines and I will grab what I feel/know works for me on a specific vehicle, or what I`m feeling like using at the time I`m standing in front of my polisher rack! LOL!!!

I work on a lot of Porsche`s, including my own! Disclaimer: The Boxster is a dealer loaner, our Macan GTS is in getting some warranty work and that is what they provided for us to drive while the work is being completed!

    Thanks again all!

    Thanks again all!
Must be "nice" to have choices about which polisher/buffer to use. I assume, then it depends on the "mood" your in or "Let`s just see what the new G9 can do today on this paint with the new 5" backing plate and pads I want to try out ." (Hint, Hint)

I FINALLY figured what SCG Pro glass Cleaner is: Surf City Garage!
There is a car-care manufacturer we do not see mentioned in Autopia forum very often anymore.
I assume you have gallon (or more) you are using up, OR is it that good of a glass cleaner??

OK, that explains that WHY you have a Boxer. Just be careful; she just might like it better than the Macan.
I talked with a lady at a parking lot at Sam`s Club last year when she was getting into a Porsche Panamerican (a vehicle seldom see in Northeast Wisconsin, hence my question as nosy Captain Obvious Porsche aficionado). I asked her what she thought of her car. She said it was previously a loaner she was given to use while her Maserati Quattroporte was being serviced for warranty work. She stated she had driven this Panamerican loaner on other occasions when "more-than-frequent" warranty work was done to the Quattroporte. She liked the Panamerican so much, she bought it and traded in the Quatttroporte. As might be expected, her assessment was the Panmerican is, by far, the best vehicle she has ever owned or driven.

    Re: 2020 Porsche 911

    Thanks gents!!!

Lonnie: Yep, I had a gallon of it and am using it up. It is a good glass cleaner. LOL, that pretty much sums up how I will decide on what polisher to use! OK, OK, I get what you are laying down about the G9! And cool story on the Pan!

    Sizzle Chest:
    Thanks for the info!
I would still kinda like you input on Flex versus Rupes polishing machines and if you have a (stronger) "preference" over one manufacturer`s machines than the other. Like I alluded to, it "seems" (my perception) like I see Flex listed more often than Rupes these days

I also needed to figure out what all these Flex tool "nicknames" are about, so when I Googled it, lo and behold, Mike Phillips has done so for us on the sister-forum AutoGeek On-line. Since I did not get his permission to cut-and-paste it, Autopians will need to
Google-search it themselves. (Not sure if his material is copyrighted for AutoGeek. It IS interesting Flex "nomenclature")
I say this because I learned your reference of the "Supa BEAST" is the cored Flex XCE direct-drive 8mm fixed orbital polisher, the successor to the "BEAST", the mighty 3401, so now I know the difference.
