    2014 Ford Mustang

    2014 Mustang
    80,000 miles
    Ruby Red Metallic (Tinted Clearcoat)

This Pony needed a little make over. It has never been corrected before and has lived its entire life outdoors. (My client did JUST purchase an outdoor enclosure to keep his Pony a little more protected the day after it was completed…so awesome!) It was full of swirls, some heavier scratches, oxidation and dull/lifeless paint. Decided on a one step to remove some defects and bring back some life to this awesome color!

    The ‘details’:

    Adam’s Wheel Cleaner.
    Adam’s Tire and Rubber Cleaner.

    Misc. Brushes.

    Adam’s Shampoo.
    Meg’s Super Degreaser. D10801.
    Beta Test Waterless Wash.
    Misc. MF Towels.
    Scan Grip and GYEON Lighting.
    Flex 3401.
    Misc. Foam Pads.
    Blackfire One Step.

    Metro Vacuum.
    Adam’s Tire Shine.
    SCG Pro Glass Cleaner.

    Thanks for looking!

Nice restoration to a beautiful color. That paint was ratted out. As always nice work my man!

    Sizzle Chest:
We have a 2015 Ford Taurus in that same color! The better half of "we" (my wife) pick out our certified-pre-owned (CPO) vehicle, mostly because of the color and overall purchase price with very low odometer mileage after an extensive vehicle search.

Great work as usual on this kind of "base model" Mustang. Nice to see you giving it your same level of detailing prowess as you do to more "exotic" cars. I also assume that the one step sealant was done to be within the budget of the owner.

I see you used a number of Adam`s products on this particular detail. Are they that good of a product or do you buy them in bulk AND they work so well for what you pay for them that they represent a good detailing product value (price of product versus product performance for that detailing task).

Still beta-testing a waterless wash? Where did you use that product in this detail? Have you been beta-testing this product very long? I ask because I cannot keep track of what you beta-testing and I have to maintain my reputation as Captain Obvious who asks a bazillion questions.

I can now kind of imagine what detailing in hot, humid weather is like. I did an all-day (at least that is what it took for me) extensive interior detail on a soccer-mom`s 2009 Toyota Camry for a co-worker of my wife last week when it was 80-97°F and 65° relative humidity in my garage. That workout just kicked by old-man butt. What I cannot imaging is doing this type of detailing day after day.

He`s back baby! Nice slow roll for the return Doc, but nothing easy about correcting something that has not been maintained, except you know no one thinned down the paint!

    Thanks everyone! Appreciate the comments!

    YES! I am back!!!

Lonnie: everything I touch gets the same `treatment`, I don`t care what it is. My name is on it when it leaves! Yep, been testing it for a few months now, it is good, don`t know if it will be released or not. I do use a few of his products on most of my work. They work for me and are excellent products! I do get 5 gallons at a time on my most used items.

Have to watch the heat, it will wear you out! I`m glad that I`m climate controlled in my operating room!

What? OH, I get it... Autodermatology.
No wonder they refer to you as "DOC"!!

Buying 5-gallon containers of the most-used detailing products at a time??? If I did that, I`d have to take out second mortgage on my house and I`d have enough product to last my entire detailing life (maybe!).
Heck, I`m at the age where I do not even buy green bananas because I am not sure I will live long enough to eat them when they ripen
