    2007 Porsche 911 Turbo

    2007 Porsche 911 Turbo
    15,340 miles

3.6 liter flat six, 6 speed manual
    480HP/460TQ
    0-60 3.3 seconds
    Top speed: 193 mph

The ‘White Whale’ came in to me to have the wheels deep cleaned and coated. It also had the calipers/wheel wells cleaned and coated while I was in there and the vehicle received a wash, clay and wax…I hope to see it later this year for a paint correction and coating.

    The ‘details’:

    McKee’s37 N914 waterless wash
    Medium clay alternative
    Polish Angel White Alabaster-LSP
    McKee’s37 APC
22ple VM1 on wheels and calipers
    22ple VR1 on wheel wells
    HD Dress for tire dressing
    Wheels properly torqued to spec
    Adam’s glass cleaner

Thanks for looking, this was a quick in and out!

Nice job. 22ple VM1 is such a great product. I am glad I tried it out after seeing a majority of your posts using it.

Looks great as always Scott. Does that thing have two different wheels on it, or is that just reflection? They sure look different in the pictures of the backside. I get to do that Cayman again for the second time in two months. Dealership ended up having to repaint half the car.

    Guz: indeed. Great product!

Dave: I thought so too, I think the fronts may be replacements/repops, but not sure.

[INSERT usual praise for Sizzle Chest`s work..]

Sizzle Chest- I basically never check P-car threads, but I was curious about the wheel coating since I have the 22ple VM1 on the shelf...How would you gauge its User-friendliness? Those wheels are a lot simpler than the ones I plan(ned?) to use it on, but I`d still like your take on it.

    Sizzle Chest:
Was (very) surprised that you did not have to use a ferrous (iron) remover on this Porsche, seeing that the brake disc are steel alloy/iron (or at least they look like steel/iron in the photos). I assume that you cleaned these rims up with McKee`s37 APC.

Great work as always. This particular Porsche 911 Turbo looks REALLY nice in front of your home being white. (Yes, we know that Captain Obvious is a biased Porsche affection-ado)

I know you have to drive all these vehicles in and out of your shop for detailing. Do you have any favorites?? Yes, it may be hard to evaluate with just a short drive to just move them, but some of them have to make an impression on you.

Hi Lonnie, that will be saved for a future date when I do a correction on this. Clay was very much needed in the interim!

No one favorite...some American muscle, old Rarri`s, and maybe a modern supercar...
