Street5927- I`m a little late to this party, but I love Daily Driver (let alone minvan) details and you sure did a great job on this one.

Interesting that the PFW/WaxShop2K finished out OK!

Heh heh, IMO you really went above and beyond doing the leather with Leatherique! Bet the owner`s really happy.

Hope they keep it nice, I get the impression it wasn`t all that bad so hope springs eternal.

Hi Bodidly, here is a video of me using the steamer to wash. I responded to one of your other posts with a more detailed explanation. I love my Vapor Rhino 145 230v steamer. It does everything I need it to do!

Accum, Thank you for the "kudo`s". I like to read your insights on many things and do heed much of your advice because they do make sense. Yes, the owner was super happy with it. The wife didn`t even want to drive it out of the garage and take it home...lol.

I am very OCD when it comes to cleaning cars. I keep getting the same reaction from all my clients...those first words are "this looks better than when I picked it up from the dealership". Yes, I love the leatherique product line for leather. The PH cleaners are nice for higher end leather (for pleather and vinyl, I wometimes use a diluted solution of Woolite which works well)

It is hard to believe that Sienna had around 94,000 miles on it!

    That`s really gratifying, huh?!?

    Gee, that *is* something!

Makes me optimistic that they won`t just [abuse] it back to "before" condition right away.

    Great work and pictures Ryan!

Awesome to see what products you used. The exterior steamer wash in the cold weather was very interesting to see. Bet the tar removal gets easier when you can use the steamer to pretreat with so the tar gets softened up. At a work I had I tested a diesel driven hot/steam PW for the different tractors and equipment to them. It gets so much more effective when you use hot/steam to clean with. This was one from the Kärcher Pro line that had just came out. There are many of these but they are expensive and some are very expensive LOL. Kränzle and a brand called Nilfisk has great options for these. To be used on vehical paints you may need to be dial down the temperature a bit. But they are very effective time wise. There are heated PW too that don`t get that hot and steam but amps up the cleaning ability from it.

    Thanks for shareing your work!

    / Tony
