    Acura MDX

    2017 Acura MDX
    35,500 miles
    White Diamond Pearl
    Parchment leather

This is a new client of mine. They found me on Instagram. Just picked up this new to them Acura and wanted it corrected and protected.
Paint was in good shape. Minor swirls/scratches and some hard water spots.

    The ‘details’:
    Adam’s Shampoo.
    McKee’s37 Iron remover.
    Griot’s medium clay mitt.
    Adam’s tire and rubber cleaner.
    Adam’s wheel cleaner.
McKee’s37 Hydro Blue to seal the wheels/calipers.
    HD Dress tire dressing.
    Scangrip lighting.
    DeFelsko PTG.
    Rupes MkIII 15.
    Rupes iBrid.
Beta test medium cut foam pads.
    Griot’s perfecting cream.
    Optimum paint prep.
22ple Mistico Elemento Forte was the LSP.
GYEON leather shield was used on all leather surfaces.
    Metro vacuum.
Adam’s trim coating on underhood plastics.
    McKee’s37 glass cleaner.
    Pinnacle black label leather cleaner.
    Adams’ quick interior detailer.

    Thanks for looking!

Engine compartment looks amazing. The whole thing does really

Probably looks even better in person moving along the paint to see the gloss you gave it

I think I say this to a lot of your picture detail pic posts, I`m damn glad you`re not in my area, don`t need this level of competition lol. The engine bay looks like a vehicle that has 500 miles not 35,000

    Re: Acura MDX

Sort of like the RDX I did couple months back. white, as well.

But mine was a simple one step AIO (mostly). Nothing else.

Great job....and yeah, that engine bay looks minty fresh

    Sizzle Chest:
Another beta test?? Yellow Pads this time. Let`s see, this beta-test list includes:
    1) Mini-polishing machine
    2) Microfiber polishing pads
    3) Polish and correcting compound
    4) Carpet cleaner-shampoo
Busy tester, but who is keeping track? (Right, Captain Obvious!) I do remember you tested the now available McKee`s 37 Tar Max Tar Remover.

How did you remove the water spots? Was this done with the iron remover or during the correcting and polishing? I do not think that claying can remove water mineral spotting. I did not see any mention of a mineral/water spot remover in the list of products.

    ^^^Lonnie, I test quite a few products!!!

I removed them during the correction/polishing stages.

Great work, as mentioned that engine bay looks better than new. You seem to have a way with white paint!
