Awesome work on an amazing car!

That would be fun to have on the swedish snow roads. The compact and 4wd and strong engine is a great combo that have on these winter roads. And also on a track with tight corners these are beasts.

Thanks for shareing your work Scott!

    Sizzle Chest:
First photo shows "some decon goin` on" ,but I did not see an iron decon-remover listed in the products used. What did you use, if any??

Did this paint have a lot of orange peel in in? Not a big fan of grey, but then who wants to draw more attention from the local law enforcement than need be because of an eye-catching color!! ("Arrest-me Red" or "Screamin` Yellow Zonkers" comes to mind.)

If it were not for that areo wing in the back (reference comments about the "Darth Vader" Camero ZL1/1LE you just did), this RS would be a real sleeper and look like a more "pedestrian" Focus with its four-doors. Kind of a "practical" year-round "performance" vehicle that could be driven in the winter snow.

Cannot wait until someone brings you a 2019 (or later) Ford Edge ST to detail. Nice vehicle, but not at its $52,000 optioned-out sticker price, at least for the one I saw on a showroom floor at a local dealership when getting our 2015 Taurus serviced.

    Re: Ford Focus RS

Sorry Lonnie, I used McKee`s37 Iron Remover.

It surprisingly did not have a lot of orange peel. Paint looked good from the factory.

Indeed. It would give it a `sleeper` look and surprise some people!

Wow! 52K for a Focus! Crazy, must`ve have some sort of dealer mark up on the sticker?

I think you misread what I posted:it is the new Ford Edge ST optioned out that was a Manufacture`s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) sticker of $52,000.
ANYONE who has not shopped for a new vehicle, especially trucks, in the last 5 or 6 years will encounter "sticker shock" to some degree.

Still, nice to see all the American vehicle manufacturer`s producing some sort of performance vehicles for the consumer who wants and can afford such vehicles. If you make it, they will come (into the showroom, anyway). Maybe the average Joe or Jane who "lusts" for the Camero SS ends up with a Malibu because that is what they can REALLY afford and it truly fits their driving needs better, if the salesperson is smart about what is best for the buyer and doing their job correctly.

The Focus RS is an a nice alternate to the Subaru WRX-STI , Volkswagen Golf R32, and Honda Civic Type-R in the hot hatch back market. Too bad Mitsubishi dropped the Evolution X, although I hear rumors that they are developing a new model with Renault.
