Mike lambert- Thanks for taking the time to respond to my "why do they put up with it?!?". I had wondered whether there was more to the story than met the eye (e.g., "we needed the car *that afternoon* and.."), but I guess not...perhaps your client will get fed up with all the hassling around and expense it causes, but at least you`re getting to work on nice new cars and I guess it`s working out OK for everybody. If the Dealer just doesn`t care, then yeah...simply nothing you can do except go elsewhere, and that can be easier said than done.
