Talked at a car show this weekend with a rep from Meguiars Sweden. He mentioned that Meguiars has been involved with the final correction of the Teslas. Don`t know if it`s the domestic Tesla hq or the manufacturing. And that they needed to be useing polish to correct the paint on them and compound was to aggressive. Didn`t get which polish they used but the newer M210 comes to my mind. If they have been involved with the manufacturing of Tesla. It can be they recommended to look over to switch to another paint that is harder. So just a guess from me. It`s useally high standard on the new car prep from the dealerships here in Sweden. So it can also be that Meguiars helped them out here to dial in the polishing. I`m quite chocked as the condition of most of the new cars is in the US. And sometimes it has to be enough from the customers that buys these cars. Okay for used cars that there are some hacks going on. But new cars should look new and not as it has gone through the swirlomatic car washes for some years LOL.
Double edge sword for you who have detailing businesses. As it`s gets you job on new cars. But for the customer that buys a new car and need to get it corrected right away when they get it. It`s just sad and it`s strange that it has not got more attention from the buyers. But maybe Tesla has seen this now.
Awesome flawless finish you got on it.
