New Toyota Sienna, they did it again!

New client referral with 1 week old vehicle. Came in because it didn’t look right. As you can see it had the typical dealership work done. I found the paint easy to correct with Griot’s correction cream on a microfiber pad using the G15 at 4.5. However it did haze a bit. Polishing done with Griot’s perfecting cream on a yellow perfecting pad first the refined with perfecting cream on a black finishing pad. Finished up with Modesta Primer on a black finishing pad using the GG6. From wash to coating ready took about 7 hours. Coated paint with Modesta BC04, wheels with Modesta BC06 using the airbrush, windshield with glassparency and tires with Griot’s black satin. Thank you for looking!

Pretty sad condition for the paint being a “week old”. Maybe it’s been sitting on the lot for a few months.

That’s truly horrifying the damage a dealer wash can do! But you saved it,no problem, like always. Great job!

Great work and write up and pictures as always Mike!

On the benefit with the condition you get these new cars delivered. Is you have a lot of work coming in LOL. The sad part is for the customer and their experience with buying a new that looks many years old. And if it`s the same dealership detailer (would not only call them detailers as they make it worse looking) it`s amazing they still can be doing work for the dealership. One way would be to ask the customer to drive to the dealership and show how it should be delivered with a picture portfolio from your work. Wonders if the dealership gets any complains on the condition of the cars that they delivers? Or maybe just is so that the customers don`t know how it should look and since most if not all new cars in your area is delivered with that condition. It`s what the customer expect the car should look like. And or the dealerships don`t care about how they delivers a new car. Here in Sweden the standard is very high even with the used cars dealership. The horror work like this is rare to see even on a used car that is preped for sale.

Beutieful deep and reflecting finish you got on it.

Thank you! Unfortunately it’s all about the money here. This company charges a one time fee of 60 dollars, that’s it for as long as the car is on the lot! That’s the source of the problem. Most of our clients do lodge complaints with the dealership for whatever good that does.
