This is a new client who has several vehicles and wanted to start with his GT3. It’s a great spec on this corner carver!
The paint was in very good shape with only some minor swirls, holograms and marring.

Man those tails are huge on those cars.Also what is paint spec color ? The flake doesnt seem to show itself in the sun.Mercedes white diamond does that also.Great work as usual, broke out 22 on this one.Bet you get more from the customer

Did you do a wheels-off detail on particular Porsche?
I know from talking (if you call typing in a forum "talking") with you on the Yellow Porsche Caymen GTS about ceramic brake discs and rims with locking center hub nuts require special removal tools for the nut and special care for the ceramic brake discs. I can see that the rim on this particular GT3 has a special Porsche locking hub nut, which I assume, requires a special Porsche tool and an impact wrench (or a very long torque bar!) to remove it. Does this car also have ceramic brake discs?
I find hard to believe that Porsche would still offer a REAL manual transmission in such a performance car, as most manufacturers ONLY offer the dual-clutch automatics, including Porsche with their own PDK-version. Some owners are still "driving purists" and Porsche should be commended for catering to them.

Lonnie: I usually only do wheels off jobs. Depends on what the client is looking for/etc.

Yes, this Porsche had center lock wheels and ceramic brake rotors.

Yes, you need special tools to remove them and I have them...the breaker bar to remove/install/torque the wheels is almost 5 feet long! It`s nuts! You also need wheel centering hubs/etc in order to not hit or nick (and run the risk of breaking or shattering) the rotors.


And believe it or not, this year`s GT3 was offered in a manual transmission! Yay!
