Yes , Modesta is authorized installers only. My hose has been in use for almost 3 years and no issues. It’s my understanding it has a lifetime warranty.

My GG hose lasted quite a while, but when i cut off the ends and got my replacement (replacements? I can`t remember..been many years, nearly 20 IIRC) they told me it was a one-time deal. IME "Lifetime" in the warranty context means whatever a vendor says it does.

I will say that after the last repair it`s held up OK, been over a decade now.

EDIT: It occurs to me that they might not be selling the (exact) same hose now that they sold back in the `90s....

Probably not, The newer ones have AN style fittings that can be removed and reinstalled.
