New Toyota Highlander ready for winter with Modesta

Previous client just purchased this for the wife, and since we did his Audi with Modesta, he wanted the best on the new family vehicle. Not a whole lot of problems, just normal wash damage from the dealership company that we see all the time. Correction with Griot’s fast correction cream on a white fast correction foam pad, refined with Griot’s perfecting cream on a black finishing pad using the 15 at speed 3.5-4.5, also the GG6 and the 3 inch pads. Finishing with Modesta Primer on a black Griot’s pad. Coated paint with BC08, trim with Modesta trim coating, and windshield with glassparency. Tires with IGL, wheels with Griot’s poly wax. Also coated the Audi summer wheels after a thorough cleaning with Modesta BC06 with the airbrush. Thanks for looking!

Not a big fan of the chrome clad type wheels. Very easily scratched and you can never seem to get all the brake dust out of them. Got rid of them on my Challenger. Thank you for the kind words.

Mike did you polish the wheel covers with gg6 3” pads before waxing. Just curious as my wife has a 17 Highlander, white pearl color. I’m not crazy about chrometec (that’s what Toyota calls them) but I’ve gotten use to them now. In the future probably will get some type of chrome wheels to replace them with. They actually don’t look that bad polished and lsp’d. Not as nice as a chrome wheel though. I still don’t understand why Toyota put them on the limited package

No , I just did them by hand with finishing Sealant first, then Poly wax.

Does the finishing sealant clean. I remember in another post you recommended that to clean plastic trim. Just trying to get educamacated. Lol

I would compare it to an all in one, I actually ran out of Griot’s 3/1 which I usually use. Works a little easier by hand.
