    2002 cobra in for recoating

Coated this car about 2 years ago and since it pretty much stays indoors, the coating was holding up well. While at the shop for maintenance, construction work in the area resulted in some type of contamination to the paint. This required extensive decontamination both chemical and mechanical. Started with Griot’s foaming surface prep, then Griot’s iron and fallout remover using a pump up foamer. Then using Griot’s clay mitt and speed shine we finally got whatever it was off. A final wash using Griot’s foaming surface wash and a thorough rinse. Correction done with Griot’s correction cream on a microfiber pad using the 15 on speed 4/5. Refined using Griot’s perfecting cream on a yellow perfecting pad. Finished with Modesta Primer on a Modesta polishing pad. Coating was Modesta BC08 for paint and wheels. Glass with Dr. Beasley products, trim with Modesta trim coating. Thank you for looking!

Beautiful car and nice job. I still want one.

Nitpicky note, this is probably a 2003 Cobra. The 2001s had a slightly different style, and they did not make a Cobra in 2002.
