Polish Angel Esclate+Viking Spritz on Jazz Blue Challenger RT

    N914 rw
    Clayed
PA esclate on Rupes yellow pads
    PA Viking Spritz
    PA diver on glass
    Gtech c2v3 on wheels
PB Bold n bright on tires and trim

Pics taken right after viking spritz was applied so it still had some shine to go after curing

Esclate cut pretty decently into the swirls but of course left all the rids.

    Thanks for viewing

Not bad...…. Not bad at all.

That is a great cut you got from Esclate Lotion! Great work and the finish on that color is awesome.

Gets me wondering if I would be doing a test spot with esclate lotion with the Rupes yellow pad first on my car. It`s a soft Kia paint. I have Scholl S20 Black SS and Scholl Honey Spiderpad that I thought to do as a cutting step. And finish with a Rupes white pad and Esclate Lotion. Will see how it goes

Thanks for shareing your work. It`s gets you to try different things.

I dont think my way preserved any more clear coat than a polish that would have (assumingly) provided the same cut. Leveling clear is leveling clear. Maybe preserving in the sense VS a deeper cutting product, yes.

I`ve taken out compounding haze with esclate before. I`d say the product needs to be updated to pad dependent on the chart at a 1 cut or 2.

I told him I wouldn`t do a two step unless he was going to pay for a multi year coating as the clear was already getting kind of low and I think long term for vehicle, not short term for his eyes.

It`s one of my top 5 favorite colors on these cars. It has nice depth. I worked on a v6 challenger about 2yrs ago and topped it with synergy wax. It looked a lot better than here but this was a faster and less intensive job.
