A pair of Porsche 968’s completely different!

This client recently purchased both of these and needed some of the paint issues resolved. The red one is a 1995, single stage and came with only 80k from a one owner. Very easy to correct with Griot’s perfecting cream on a microfiber pad followed by Griot’s finishing Sealant on a yellow perfecting pad. Finished with Best of Show wax. Now as you can see the black one needed a little more love! What is strange is this one was 2 stage even though it was a 1992? One owner with 48k. Both cars ranged in the 4.5-5.5 range. The black one was corrected with Griot’s correction cream on a microfiber pad, refined with Griot’s perfecting cream on a black finishing pad. Finished again with Best of Show wax. Both got a vacuum and glass cleaned, tires and wheels cleaned also. Lots of work and lots of pads in 2 days, but we were pleased with results! Thank you for looking!

Awesome work. I’m liking these Porsche way more now than I did when I was a teen in the 90’s. The styling aged well.

I cannot believe the polish residue in the bucket. Gross looking, but cool all at the same time.

Great work and write up and pictures as always Mike!

Is the licens plate on the red cosmetic or has it been imported from Germany?

    Mr. Lambert:
    Love your work and photos.
Is the residue in the bucket from spin-cleaning your pads, or just from washing out the pads in the bucket?
Are your pads Griot`s Garage or some other pad manufacturer?
I see in the background of the photo with products used that are placed on the black Porsche, a "collection" of GG polishers hanging up, or at lest I assume they are GG polishers and not Flex`s.
Also, in that same photo, your LED lighting hanging from the ceiling is visible. Who makes those lights??

Thank you! Yes we use the bucket to keep the dust down in the shop. At the end of the day the pads are washed in the machine. There are no flex machines in my shop, cannot stand them! All products used as well as machines are Griot’s with the exception of a Rupes I brid. The lights are 150 watt LED outside flood lights. 5000k. Came from amazon.
