    B5 Blue wearing Modesta

This is the first of two from a husband and wife who recently purchased both of these Challengers. First was the wife’s 2016 with 6k on it.Nothing major in defects but just tons of dealerships washing damage.Cutting step with Griot’s correction cream on a microfiber pad with the G21 using a 5 inch setup, and the GG6 with the 3 inch setup. Refined with Griot’s perfecting cream on a black finishing pad. Final step with Modesta Primer on finishing pad. Coated paint with BC08, wheels with polish angel, glass with polish angel and trim with Modesta’s new exterior trim coating.tires with Griot’s black satin. Thank you for the time to look! green waits for this Friday and Saturday

    I like the blue better.
Formerly the "Best Detailer", now just Super Wax Waster Man. Not necessarily tactful, but normally right. It`s good to be da King !!!

If I were to polish/detail these cars, I think the flatter-looking green would be much more fun than the standard highly-metallic blue. If I were to OWN one of these, gimmie the blue please.

I like the blue one too. But I’ll take a green one if they’re giving them away! Very nice work!

    Re: B5 Blue wearing Modesta

Although I`ve been admiring B5 for a lot longer than most Autopians have been breathing, and despite wanting all my cars to be the most boring looking things ever IRL, I *do* like that green! Hey, I can like what I like since I won`t be driving one

    Mike Lambert- [INSERT usual praise..]

Does using the black Finishing Pad make a diff with the Perfecting Cream (compared to using the yellow Polishing Pad)? And/or is it paint dependent?

Could you give me a Cliff`s Notes Intro on Modesta Primer?

    Re: B5 Blue wearing Modesta

I didn’t need to remove any haze from the cutting step , so to be honest I just wanted to bump up the Shine a bit. As far as Modesta Primer, it is basically a finishing polish that is required to achieve the durability in the coating. Not required for BC08 but we like it because it adds additional Shine. And no it’s nothing like the carpro product or polish angel Primer. I can’t be anymore specific than that.

Nice job! I`m partial to the blue but if the trim on the green one were darker I might go for that one. Maybe a ceramic coat would help darken and bring out the trim.
