Did some house keeping on my GTO

Being that business slows this time of year I figured it was a good time to do some cleaning and a coating application on the wheel wells and calipers. Being that I just got the car back from the shop after the winter upgrades were installed it needed a bath anyway so I proceeded with getting the wells prepped and coated too.
I worked on one side of the vehicle at a time over the course of a solid day. For cleaning I gave the wells, suspension and calipers a healthy dose of LATA and then agitated with a brush. Then to help add a bit of cleaning power I used my steamer to rinse and help get into the nooks. Then followed up with a prep wipe. IGL Wheel was applied to the plastics, calipers and suspension parts via air brush. The end results were just what I was hoping for. And I will say that since application road grime rinses out much easier.

I still need to clean and paint the caliper brackets and rotor hats but overall it looks much nicer now.

Very nice Justin! What kind of airbrush are you using for the application?

Looks good! Reminds me that I need to go put on a layer of FK1000p before my car goes and sits in a body shop parking lot for who knows how long.

Just a harbor freight airbrush kit. Works nice

Yeah I cleaned my car too before I dropped it off but between the snow we had and rain it was filthy.

I am looking at the weather, and I may be limited to another coat of WetCoat.
