Wolfgang Fuzion Paste Wax and a shiny black truck...

A client reached out seeking a "full wax job" so I booked this two weeks ago and it really needed a polishing but this was the best I could do given the $ quoted.

    washed, clayed and dried

After a few ideas back and forth with a fellow wax waster I decided to use some other products and walked into my garage with said products and there sat this jar just giving me that look...you know that look...that "just try me on half of this door real quick" look

What can I say? I`m a weak man. So I gave in to the temptation.

Did (the left side) half of this door, it`s hard to see the line but there was a noticeable darkening effect.

Then can you believe it? It tempted me to spray it with water.

mirror bright wheel cleaner and some brushes
pb sss and some pb micro mitts
    poorboys trim restorer on plastic
poorboys bold n bright on tires and wells and other random areas
    poorboys qd+ on jams
    poorboys PWS on chrome
    opt glass clean/protect
    maybe missed something
..running boards are gonna get replaced
    2012 w 46k or so, made appreciate how good my 2006 w 134k looks

This truck needed a solid two step to return to glory, but it wasnt in the cards this time so I gave her shiny and buttery smooth.

review on wax- easy on, easy off
a little goes a long way. a primed black wax applicator (blackfire one) did two doors and a fender

wiped off after about 5 mins of sitting as I found it removed easier in my ac garage (80degrees or so)

    slick, buttery wax goodness slick

smells fantastic but not as good as some other paste jars I have in similar red color

protection? dunno, but sure neaded nicely and darkened the paint as well as provided a great warm rich depth to paint that was in solid need of a proper polishing

I am a big fan of Fuzion. I think it has a lot of characteristics that remind me of the old Megs M16 that everyone loved so much (me too). I do find it deepens and richens dark colors, and gives a nice rich, deep glow to the paint. I love it on black and dark blue metallic cars.

It`s crazy expensive, and considering that M16 used to be about $20 a can, it`s an odd comparison for me. However, over the last couple of years, for some reason there have been sales on Fuzion in the 8oz can. The first one a few yeas ago they blamed on mislabeling the product, but they continue to have these sales (without the wooden box). I got my 8oz can for about $55 IIRC. It`s definitely worth that, and it`s definitely worth keeping your eyes open and waiting for the price to drop.

Yeah, still not worth $200. Best buy if you want it now is to buy a 3oz jar for $50. It will last a long time if you aren`t waxing every weekend, and you can try it out without the big investment.

I love the way Fuzion fills, darkens, and the "deep look" but it`s a bit pricey.
Another fav of mine is Pinnacle Signature Series II. Have you tried Sig II?

Fusion sounds alot like BlackIce, I wonder if it`s easier to apply than BFBI
