Polish Angel meets Pitch Black Hellcat

He told me I could drive it and even asked me what I thought of it when he picked it up. Sadly, I didn`t drive it though.

It did, however, become a bit of a garage dwelling obsession.

So on with it...

Took almost half a day to figure out how to tame this paint. Then the next day I got a bright idea at work and started over on parts of the car after a test spot.

for the most part: and of course skipping the wash/decon/clay details

Polish Angel invincible primer (as cut and finish- two step polish with an entire 50ml bottle) (tried many other combos but nothing got me where I wanted in two steps as well as this did)
Polish Angel cosmic v2 (3 coats)
Polish Angel cosmic spritz (2 coats, 1 to accelerate curing and one to add strength)
Polish Angel high gloss (2 coats, one for reflection one for ridiculousness sake)
Polish Angel supersport (wheel faces and calipers-with a q-tip)
Polish Angel diver (glass)
Poorboy`s bold n` bright on trim and tires/wells
Poorboy`s spray and wipe
Poorboy`s dmt, dmmt, umt towels (lots of them)
a few red bulls, dr peppers and a couple nights of takeout
and one paid day off to work extra on the car because it sounded more fun than the day job

these polishing pads used varying from 1 to 7 inches to get anywhere they could reach plus a few more I found in a container from this job
urofibers were washed once previously and used twice each

34 total hours invested over four whole days (I may have gone a little overboard-perks of being the boss I guess)






ran 10.79 on first time at track the night before delivery

phone just wasnt capturing the defects properly but it had some really deep rids in there for a new car

id say i got 90-93% or so, urofiber pads worked well for me with invincible primer as a cut
this is before cosmic, primer adds some serious gloss

cosmic v2 removed



2nd and 3rd coat applied 2-3 hours apart then spritz as directed and then I went ham on the car - haha (and yes I let them cure)

That sure is one heck of a hack job if I ever saw one. Hope he paid well for you lousy work. All I know is it would`ve taken me a week plus to do all that. lol. Great work though.
