2016 Mustang GT Correction, Coating, Bumper Plug install

I received an email about two weeks ago from a guy who wanted his new Mustang corrected and coated. We met up for a look over of his car and settled on just that. He asked me to remove the dealer sticker and install bumper plugs as well.

I apologize for the lack of correction & 50/50 pictures, I was having serious difficulty getting my camera to focus on anything the day I worked on it.

I found the paint to be very soft, which is not what I expected. 205 was leaving marring on its own so I had to dial the speed down and even use a little water on the pads to soften up the cut.

Dealer sticker was removed by heating up the letters and peeling them off. The residue was removed with Tar X and a microfiber. I polished the area afterwards to remove the ghosting left by the sticker.

The bumper plugs were very easy to install, I just needed to drill two 9/32” holes to make the existing ones bigger to fit the plugs in.

The Mckees coating was the easiest coating I`ve applied so far. The few high spots I found the next morning wiped right off. No need to polish them off.

Damn front plates. Why we still have two plates in WI is beyond me. They do occasionally get left behind at crashes for the LE to ID the vehicle It always pained me to have to drill into front bumper covers at my dad`s car Lot when installing the front plate brackets.

That Mustang looks nice, especially like the look of the Gyeon tire gel. Nice write up and even better work.
