Owner recently picked this car up, has mega horsepower turbo plans for it but first wanted it cleaned up. Some areas were pretty swirled up, really didn`t look good in the sun or under LED lights.
    `
This was on the hood, actually about the least swirled part of the car since it had a clear bra on it since new and it was just removed (due to damage) a few days ago. `
    `

    `
    After
    `

    `
    ONR Wash
Opti-Raser (mild) to spot clay)-paint was actually very smooth
Meguiars M100 using a Meguiars MF cutting pad and Rupes 21 DA
Optimum Hyper Polish using an Optimum orange foam waffle cutting pad and HF DA
3D HD Polish using a Meguiars yellow foam polishing pad and Rupes 21 DA
    Opti-Seal
    `
Got 90-95% correction throughout the car, the back fenders were especially bad and I expect we`ll have to do them again once all the engine work is finished. A few deeper RIDS (random isolated deep scratches) remained, and the hood had some pitting that was way too deep to polish out. Overall though, it was a massive improvement, even in the garage the owner could see how much deeper and wetter the finish looked.`

2 of us working, about 4.5 hours, to about 9 total hours into it. Interior was just vacuumed and wiped down so 95% of our time was concentrated on the paint.`

One more question Scott. Is the new spray polish formula cream colored vs. the old formulation being pink?

Great job Scott. The waffle pad you used with the Hyper Polish, is that the new pad?

Not sure how "new" it actually is, been using them for several months now. Not quite microfiber cut but the finish is superb.`

Sort of like when I rode a friend`s carbon Fuji SST2.0 last year, couldn`t get it out of my mind how a bike could ride so smooth and still be so stiff and fast. And spending $3200 or so on a bike wasn`t something I wanted to do at the time...but luckily, Performance Bikes had a 2013 model in my size locally and ended up getting the SST2.1 for $2299.
