Thanks to the dealer, they washed the car even though they were instructed initially not to do so. It is actually in the computer system. Not sure what they used.
    `
I worked on the car the first time on 12.26.2012,when the car was brand new. The dealer agreed to pay for the detail without any fuss so I went back to correct the paint and reapplied Opti Coat Pro.
    `
I totally forgot to take during pictures, but the customer is very happy again, the paint is back to nearly 100%

Normally underneath the licence plate the paint is pretty filthy from all the build up, but look what happens with Opti Coat. It was clean! :props:

    Thomas,

    `

Just to clarify, after initial purchase and the initial detail/ coating you performed... the customer took the car back into the dealer `for service` and they ended up washing it?

    `

I`m a sucker for that Subaru blue.

    `

    Amazing gloss. `

    Looks terrific!`

    `

I have had that happen too, one car the dealer was told not to wash, two that were hand washed (probably the same place since both live near downtown Dallas) that left marring everywhere. And none were vehicles with soft paint. A Mini, BMW and an Audi. Luckily, in all three cases, the coating took the brunt of the damage and what looked like they`d need hard corrections were made whole again with a single step.`

That`s a shame that the dealership had done that but amazing save on their part by paying for the repairing detail. Looks great!

Thank you guys! I hear you Scott! It is crazy how so many dealerships do not hear the customer.

Will, the check came in 2 days after receiving the invoice from me.
