Recent job completed at the shop this Carrera S was in need of deep cleaning and paint correction, sometimes hard working guys like the client who owns the car will have the maintenance for the appearance get the best of them.

    Vehicle before thorough wash/decon.

Condition of the finish after the wash.

i started with the rear section of the car first as it as the worst marring to deal with.

    During compounding step.

Factory clearfilm was in sorry shape as well.

    During correction.

Bird dropping etch on the headlight.

    After.

    Marred bumper.

    50/50.

    After compounding.

    Deep RIDS.

After buzzing the scratches with Abralon 4000 and Edge wool.

About 95-98% correction , as the lower scratch was thru to the body.

    Drivers side clearfilm before.

    After.

Drivers front quarter was also badly marred.

    After compounding.

Just a little dirt build up.............

During the scratch removal on the leading edge of the rear bumper.

    Marring and film residue.

    Polished down.

    "Dealership applied wax residue"

    During removal.

    Much better.

Closing in on the completion of the job.

Burning the "Midnight oil" .............well almost(lol).

Getting "The look" once again of a dialed in Black Porsche.

Drivers seat had "Blue jean transfer" which is no fun to remove.

Transfer removed of the front part of the seat.

    Interior completed.

    Bob,

Fantastic work. What did you use on the leather and what method to remove the blue Jean transfer?

Thanks guys!!, this was a rough one....I do lot`s of black Porsches but this one had so much damage......... I did not show the pic of the wheels before because I wrote with my finger "Dirty wheel" which I felt might not be a "Good look" lol.

Someone mentioned it looked like it had been to the track...............oh yeah.

Well Bob I`m the kid in eighth grade who got sent looking for the plywood stretcher by our wood shop teacher. 2 stops later after having asked the power mechanics teacher and then being sent to the custodians office, I was informed of my stupidity. Ahhhh memories.
