I had the privilege to detail a 2001 Ford Lightning. This one is no joke.

Besides it needing some shine put back in to that amazing black, this car put`s down near 600rwhp with over 700tq. Off nitrous.

This was not a full paint correction job, but the process was not light by any means. I spent 7-8 hours on the exterior of the vehicle.

Wash/Dry (Compressed air on hard to get areas)

    Wheels/Wheel wells cleaned/wheels polished.

Clay- Adam`s clay for lighter spot`s, Chemical guys Purple heavy duty clay for worse areas.

    1 Pass buff w/orange pad

    1 pass polish w/white pad

    1 pass wax w/black pad

    1 pass with Brilliant Glaze

Most of my products are Chemical Guys/Adam`s/Menzerna/Meg`s

    Flex 3401

    PC 7424

As most detailer`s do not like to hear, my camera is not the best of quality.

I`m sure you did a great job on it, but it`s hard to tell since your pics are so tiny.

Looks to be a great job from the size of the pictures. Clicked on a few of them to see the larger shot. One question though, why did you wax it then glaze it?

I used Adam`s Super Machine Wax followed by Adam`s Brilliant Glaze, with those products helps bring out the darker, wet and deep looking shine.

Looks great, find out from the owner what kind of times that thing is putting down, I`ve been a huge Lightning fan for years.

He ran 11.8`s w/out the spray and terrible 60ft.

    Assume with a pro-launch and on spray predict`s 10.9`s...

    Thanks for the compliments though!
