I was called up last week by one of my customers that had me detail his 1956 Ford F100 back in Dec 2009 after a 3 year extensive build. He told me that his truck would be debuting at the Del Mar National`s Goodguys Rod and Customs this weekend and that he wanted to give it another "jeweling" of the paint. We also got heavy on the billet polishing on the interior, wheels and in the engine as well as a waxing of the wood strips and polish of the stainless rails. Paint was polished intensely and 2 coats of LSP were applied for the ultimate in gloss and depth.....

Here are some new photos of the truck that I snapped up yesterday when I finished with my detailing.

Shots of this custom burl wood bed with a triple clear coat finish and stainless strips w/hidden hardware...super clean!

Engine shots to drool over........lots of polished billet on this 351 Cleveland

Interior shots of polished billet column/steering wheel and conditioned leather, prestine carpeting and mirror image interior paint

Rocking and pounding sound system stuffed into the back of this single cab

Hows this for a custom headliner with tremendous detail....all made of the finest leather hides

Thank you for viewing this awesome Ford in a Ford 1956 F100........on display indoors this weekend at Del Mar National`s Goodguys Rod and Custom car show......My wife and I put all of our hearts and soul into this detail, hoping this proud owner will take home an award!

That is to drool over. What LSP and tire dressing did you use?

Wow! That truck is amazing! Paint so smooth too! Some serious time wet sanding went into that bad boy!

    Nice work!

Thank you all for your wonderful comments of my work on this very "Sweet" Ford F100.....

Some colorsanding was done on my end to correct some of the prep marks from the buildup, but for the most part it was 80% smooth as glass!

LSP used on this Ford F100 was 2 nice coats of NXT 2.0 followed up by a thorough wipe down with Blue Mist. The tires recieved Stoners "Trim Shine" for treatment and protection. My customer called me yesterday from Del Mar once he arrived with the rig, and he said it was surrounded by folks asking about it! It is getting a ton of looks, ooohs and awwws...Cant wait to see the pics my customer took. He also said the Classic trucks magazine wants to do a spread on the truck :grinno:......more pics to follow!
