I did this yesterday morning. She told me it,was bad, but hearing and seeing are two different animals. LOL Kids and dogs make a good mess. Sorry the pictures were with my phone. Oh it was an Odyssey

You will see in the pictures that the dash looks super greasy, it was just the picture. The product does not leave anything that greasy.

    Process:

    Vac

ZEP High Traffic Cleaner on the carpets

    Folex on the stains

    vac some more

Interior wiped down with ZEP Citrus Degreaser

Danase`s interior dressing(I can`t remember the name of it)

    Woolite/water on leather

    Z10

Looks great! I appreciate posts like this. I`m just a small operation and this is very typical to what I get on a regular basis. No exotics in my garage unfortunately. lol

Those Odysseys are a total pain for interiors, so I can respect the reality check! You almost have to charge them double for shampooing for all those stupid floor mats Honda puts in there...

Last time I did one of those I just borrowed an industrial (home) carpet extractor from a friend and went to town. The little 4" attachment on my extractor just wasn`t doing it!

    Excellent recovery!

I feel your pain. I did the Explorer from hell yesterday. Heavily stained carpets and leather, paint transfers galore, heavy bonded contaminants, etc...and a little over 5 hours to detail it. Defintiely no time for pictures! I started at 8:20 AM and finished it a minute before she had to leave at 1:30 PM. :nervous2:

Interior and claying took so long the outside only got one stepped with Poli-Seal after I removed the paint transfers by hand using an MF and #105. To top it off, the battery is obviously towards the end of its useful life because having the doors open and moving the front seats back and forth ran it down enough it wouldn`t start when I was going to move it back a few feet and redress the tires (to ensure even coverage). Had to jump it off my car and let it run the final 15 minutes I was working on it so my customer wouldn`t be late to work (she is with the Dallas County Sherriff`s department). What a day.

Nice job on that, but why does the 2nd row area have like 10 different pieces of mats? Looks very unpractical. To me rubber mats is the only way, just hose them off and the carpet underneath still looks good.

Great job! I`m the same way ...small shop, do cars like that all the time (actually just got finished doing the typical soccer mom volvo xc70 wagon yuck!) ...and Honda Cr-Vs are the same way with all those mats....and they have these stupid buttons that you have to snap back in place or else the mats scrunch all up....stupid stupid design! :hairpull

    Thanks guys, appreciate the comments.

Pats300zx- ZEP HTC I have been using for a while now. I like it a lot, it makes it pretty easy to clean up. I don`t have a PC but I want to get one to have the brush attachments. Those with the HTC would be an awesome combo. If you have one I would suggest that. The carpets will come out great.

Gle helle- I think it is a 10/1 or 20/1 ratio. I talked to Scott wax but I can`t remember what he said to run.

Scott- Thanks, yeah Explorers can be a pain. I haven`t had as bad of luck like the one you did but I have had some bad ones.

Mark- Yeah I think there are 7 or 8 mats total, I have no idea why they did that. It makes for a real PITA to deal with.

    Anyway, thanks again.
