Client bought this vehicle in VA and wanted it fully restored. The typical swirling and lack of protection was present. I had the owner drop the vehicle off, and needed around 30 hours to complete this job. The paint alone was over 22 hours A few days later the Interlagos Blue M was smiling

Holy cow 30 hours? That`s a long time. Time to use m105 and wool to cut that time in 1/4 . Great job on the car, I love the CSL reps.

Those arent CSL reps, they are real BMW wheels that come with the competition package

I really did not have the time to snap photos before/during/after. I took a little over 15 and these shots turned out best.

I was all out of M105 and did not have the time once again to grab a bottle, so SIP worked fine.

Martin - What an excellent detail!!! :2thumbs::2thumbs::2thumbs:

I think I have seen this car at a show once. It was very new back then. Was the previous owner in his 50s? Do you know?

Even as a new car in the sun you could see the imperfections all over the car.

    The color is beautiful btw.

That is my next car period. The best BMW blue and my favorite wheels.

Great job on the detail man, I hope the owner was pleased, with the amount of time you put into this.

Yes, you are right. Swirls are an understatement, it was awful in sunlight/garage/dark etc.

    Thanks

Beautiful Job! When I was looking for an M3, the Comp pack Interlagos was my car of choice. I love that color! And yes, those are real CSL wheels. :2thumbs:

Wow, what a beautiful car and unbelievable job on the detail!

    The paint looks absolutely amazing!

How are you liking the P21S 100% Nuba?

Also, fantastic pictures. What kind of camera are you using? I just picked up a Nikon D60 and have to learn how to use it correctly.
