I did this Toyota almost 1 year ago and he came back because of some scratching that he wanted me to correct as well as a full exterior/interior detail. The owner keeps this vehicle in very nice condition as it has over 160,000 miles on the odometer.

I wet sanded the scratches, but there were some small gouges that I will have to fill in later this year. Used 2500 grit and a foam sanding pad, then the System One Polish X3 for compounding and polishing. Following a wash to remove dust, I burnished the paint with 3M Performance Finish for a super gloss and decent durability.

After System One Polishing but before 3M Performance Finish

    All Done!

I`ve got another private detail on a Black BMW 745 that some other detailer left horrible swirl marks from mis-use of a rotary/compound. Should be interesting this Saturday.

Looks good. I just did the same truck not too long ago. Just posted the thread. Mine was in way worse condition though. Lady drove behind a cement truck for a while and didnt wipe it off heh plus a 5 year old slurpee everywhere in interior.

Would have loved to see before, afters of the wetsanding, but great job.

Having 160k on the odometer, the truck sure looks awesome.
