Here is red Ferrari F430 Spider. Before I washed this vehicle it was looking pretty good but after a wash and Claying trueth came out. Full of small swirls and few deep scrathes.

    This is what I did:

Wash with Würth Pineline to get old wax off

    Wash with Zaino Z-7

    Zaino Z-18 ClayBar

    Wash with Zaino Z-7

Cause it has very soft clearcoat I used Cyclo with soft pads just to make sure no harm will be done. On back quarter I hade to use Würth PC with Lake country white cutting pad cause it was in bad shape. Just few pases and it was OK.

    Zaino Z-PC

    Zaino Z-5 Pro + Zaino Z-2 + ZFX combo

    Zaino Z-6

    Zaino Z-5 Pro + Zaino Z-2 + ZFX combo

    Zaino Z-6

    Zaino Z-8

    Day 2

    Zaino Z-5 Pro + ZFX

    Zaino Z-6

    Zaino Z-2 Pro + ZFX

    Zaino Z-6

    Zaino Z-2 + ZFX

    Zaino Z-6

    Zaino Z-8

    Zaino Z-CS

    wheels/rims with Zaino Z-AIO + Z-8 and Zaino Z-16

interior was vacuumed and leather treated with Z-9 and Z-10

    Windows with Z-AIO

    Enginebay with Z-AIO

All pics are from the first day

    Before pics:

    After pics:

Notice there are still two scrathes on up left under light. I just did not have courace to cut deeper

Quite a process. What is the benefit of mixing Z-2 and Z-5?

It hurts me to see that cover on it after all of that work.

    WOW! Looks good man!

Great process! I wanted to do something similar but i realized my overhead was probably going to be like a quarter more.

Yes it is swirl free now but there are few scrathes witch were quite deep and sharp (3rd pic above). Like I wrote above I hade no courace to cut deeper cause I have no paint depth meter.

I took hologens off for cooling cause I hade to leave to next place. I still have do some prep for that Ferrari cause battery was low and roof could not be opened.

    2. day was far to busy, I hade no time for photos, but I will take some new pics next time.

Z-2 + Z-5 combo gives more depth, you need to do some testing

EDIT: Here are some photos with bigger lights but color looks like more orage than red

How did you mix? 50% z2+ 50% z5+ a few drops of zfx?

aren`t you worried about the sealant not being able to fully cure if the cover goes back on it without some time for it cure?

Cover is very soft and made of cotton so it has air between fabric and paint. It has time for cure for months cause it is snowing outside.

That paint is amazing, excellent job with the detailing, did you use a random orbital buffer or did you seal it all by hand?

good to know zaino finally made z-pc to take care of swirls...is it meant to be used as sparingly as their sealants??...for example, how long do you spend on a panel before the z-pc breaks down and does its job...

    thanks
